6 Tips for Creating Your First Kapsules

1. Visualize who you're speaking to

‍Whether it's your future self, a family member, or even someone you haven't met yet, visualize them in your mind. What do they look like? Where are they in their future world? What age will they be when they receive your Kapsule?

This will help frame who you want to send a Kapsule to and when you want them to receive it.

2. Visualize them watching your Kapsule

Now picture the video (the one you’re about to record) playing for them in the future. What’s something that will be meaningful to them in the future? How do you want them to feel? How will the passing of time make that feeling resonate with them even more strongly?

This will help you decide what you want to say to them.

3. Keep it short and sweet

A short and sweet message is key to creating Kapsules. Think about receiving a greeting card. Would you rather receive a card with writing on both sides of the card in small font? Or would rather get a card that had the right sentiment, was personalized by the sender, and delivered at the right time?

4. Be yourself
